Priority 6 – Post ROSC Care Bundle

For patients where resuscitation results in ROSC, a number of specific care interventions should take place to maximise the effectiveness of NWAS delivery of care. Where a clinician records in the EPR that ROSC has been achieved, through either:

• Cardiac arrest tile – ‘ROSC present at handover’ = YES, or
• Cardiac arrest tile – ‘Time of first ROSC’

The bundle becomes active and is visible at the top of the screen.

This is a six-step bundle of care that includes:

1. Record a 12-lead ECG post-ROSC
2. Record a blood sugar (BM)
3. Record ETCo2
4. Record administration of oxygen
5. Record Blood Pressure post-ROSC
6. Record administration of any IV fluids
